Clinical case of a 63-years-old patient, no smoker. The chief complaint was the aesthetic treatment of his superior incisive teeth.
An objective examination of the patient shows:
- Presence of several obsolete and inadequate fillings of different elements of the superior teeth (13,11,21,22,23)
- Presence of a temporary resin crown (12), that had been installed since more than three years
- Element 11 having 2 degrees mobility and a distal pocket 9-10 mm deep.
Treatment plan
The treatment schedule provides:
- Root canal treatments in 13,21,22,23
- Avulsion of 11 followed by homologous bone graft and partial thickness flap with coronal slipping from 13 to 23.
- Immediate positioning of temporary bridge from 13 to 23
- After one month, secondary positioning of temporary crowns from 13 to 23
- Final positioning of a zirconia bridge 13-12- X- 21-22-23.
