The patient’s medical history was negative for systemic disease, former smoker, 34
years old, male, worker in Switzerland.
Due to various factors like stress, bad habits, bruxism the lenght of the anterior teeth
was inappropriate.
The patient’s request is to get back a normal lenght of the teeth.
Due to the fact it is stable for the past 10 years (old pics), to economical reason and
thanks to the long overjet we decide to restore only from first premolar to first
premolar with disilicate veneers, trying to reproduce an anterior guide supported and
guided by the canine and a canine-premolar group function posterior disclusive
guide.
After taking several photo intra and extraoral and an alginate impression we make a
digital smile with Keynote and we made a wax up and next a mock up to try-in our
project.
Approved clinically and by the patient we procede to prepare the teeth under a
silicone index and make an impression with polyether material.
We did another mock up for provisional restoration in the meantime that the lab
create the disilicate veneers (monolithic with only enamel cut back).
After 1 week the lab has finished the veneers and we are ready to cementing with
adhesive procedure.
In the same appointment we give to the patient a night guard.
After 1 week the control of the soft tissue was good and the aesthetic integration is
satisfactory.
After 5 month everythigs are stable.
And most important the patient is very happy!!
