Dr. Kim Fajardo
ALL CLINICAL CASES
The patient presented a case of a missing Tooth #31 with ginigival recession and cementum exposure on both Tooth #41 and #32. Tooth #41 and #32 presented 1st degree mobility so the clinician decided to fabricate a Fiber Reinforced Ceramic Polymer Maryland Bridge that will splint Tooth #41, #32 and #33 together.
Rest stops were prepared on the abutment teeth to guide in the seating of the restoration using a #1 round bur. Polyvinylsiloxane material was used to take an impression and the Fiber Reinforced Ceramic Polymer Maryland Bridge was fabricated from Shofu Ceramage and custom staining was done using Shofu Lite Art material to mimic the natural white discoloration of the neighboring teeth. The case was cemented using Shofu Resicem resin based cement.
