Hello my name is Dr Omar Fathalla from Cairo Egypt and this is a case i have performed on one of my patients.
He first came to me complaining of severe staining, discoloration and hypoplasia of the teeth due to heamophilia. The continuous bleeding from the gums lead to the following:
The only viable solution to treat such a condition was full coverage crowns; and E-Max was the material of choice for better esthetics. The only problem was that the patient couldnt perform any dental procedures except in the hospital after taking the missing clotting factor via blood transfusion. So i decided to go for the general anesthesia option in the hospital for a safer and more compliant environment.
It took about 8 hours to finish the teeth preparations, take impressions and finally fitting the temporary crowns. Also a full mouth scaling and root planning was performed.
After the try in session, i met with the patient for the final delivery and this was the final outcome.
