Dr Diego Zimmermann Reis
A female patient, flight attendant, with a beautiful face but with a smile without harmony, visited us to correct the region of the implant of the first right upper premolar, in addition to all other recessions presented in maxilla.
She reported that she had failed with two procedures of apicoectomy on this premolar, in addition to having performed soft and hard tissue grafts at the site for implant placement.
At the physical examination, he presented a failed, non-osseointegrated implant besides recessions that would not allow proper bone reconstruction, as well as soft tissues. She had some ceramic laminates.
A completely ceramic (zirconia + feldspathic) prosthesis was chosen between the teeth 13 and 15, as well as plastic surgeries of root coverage, by tunneling, with connective tissue graft and Straumann Emdogain, of the remaining teeth in the maxilla, in aesthetic area.
After the healing period, the patient was submitted to the changes of the laminates by new ceramics, finishing the clinical case with a new dento-gingival harmony.
