A case of full mouth rehabilitation of patient 59 years old, good overall health condition, seeking for a better oral health and aesthetics. The clinical examitation revealed:
MANDIBLE: presence of teeth 33, 32, 31, 41, 42 and 43 (all of them with severe wear). No use of removable partial denture ever.
MAXILLA: presence of teeth 17, 15, 12, 11, 22, 23, 24 and 25 (all of them with severe wear and improper restorations). Use of a removable partial denture showing poor condition.
To make our treatment plan, wich should include vertical dimension increase, we used tomography and the wax-up technique:
MANDIBLE: Straumann® Tissue Level Implants – 36 and 46 / Straumann® Bone Level Implants – 34 and 44 / fixed screw-retained ceramic brigde – 36-34 and 46-44 / E.max press veneers – 33, 32, 31, 41, 42, 43.
MAXILLA: Simultaneous sinus lift and Straumann® Bone Level Implant installation – 16 / Straumann® Bone Level Implant installation using Summers´ Technique – 26 / Straumann® Bone Level Implants – 14, 13, 21 / E.max cement-retained implant supported crowns 16, 14, 13, 21, 26 / E.max press veneers – 15, 12, 11, 22, 23, 24, 25.
The whole treatment was 8 months long.
