INITIAL EXAMINATION:
patient with severe bone resorption is wearing full dentures in cross and deep bite.

TREATMENT:
the cast of the upper and lower jaw with a new reletionship and vertical dimension (DV) is transferred to the articolator so the it can be created a template in order to position the implants and obtain the right occlusion for the fixed temporary prosthesis

TEMPORARY PROSTHESIS:
after two days a milled resin temporary prosthesis is screwed on implants.
The temporary prosthesis is essential for esthetic, functional evaluations and gum healing (note bumps in order to stimulate a better gum design)
In these kind of cases, where occlusion and bite plane are strongly compromised, the temporary prosthesis works as a rihabilitation bite.

FINAL IMPRESSION AND CROSS MOUNTING
once the implants are osseointegrated and the gum is in perfect health a final impression is taken.
The temporary prosthesis is wore until the implant osseointegration is complete and then through the cross mounting the working casts are placed on the articolator.
A resin arch is built and settled on implants to verify the passivity of the lab analogs in the working cast (ph.21-23).

FINAL RESTORATION
sometimes a new temporary prosthesis is required for minor esthetics and functionals adjustment.
After in mouth try-in of the milled zirconio substructure, the restoration is ultimated with the application of ceramic.
